We collect only what is needed to run accounts, simulations, and AI features.
We do not sell personal data.
1. Who we are
BYSEL Services (“BYSEL”, “we”, “us”) operates the BYSEL mobile application and related backend services for Indian stock-market education and simulated (paper) trading.
2. Information we collect
Account information
Username and email for password-based accounts
Phone number for OTP / Firebase phone authentication
Optional display name if you provide it
Session tokens used to keep you signed in
Usage and simulation data
Paper trades, holdings, watchlists, alerts, and portfolio settings
Private stock notes you save on a symbol
AI Assistant queries and responses (to operate and improve the feature)
App preferences such as theme and refresh settings
Cloud hosting (for example our API host) — to run the product
AI providers (for example Groq / Gemini / our Indian Stock LLM stack) — when you use AI chat; queries are stock-related prompts processed to return answers. We remain responsible for this processing under Play User Data requirements (limited use; not sold as marketing data)
Market data sources (public market data providers and exchange feeds via our backend) — publicly available market data only
Legal obligation — if required under applicable Indian law
5. Storage and security
Account and portfolio data may be stored on our servers and locally on your device
Transport uses HTTPS; access is limited to authorized systems
You can delete your account from Settings; we aim to remove associated personal data within 30 days

Access, correct, or request deletion of your account data
Opt out of optional product emails where offered
Contact us with privacy concerns at any time
7. Children’s privacy
BYSEL is intended for users aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Contact us if you believe a minor has registered and we will delete the account.
8. Advertising
The App does not display advertisements and does not use advertising SDKs or ad networks for targeted ads.
9. Financial disclaimer
BYSEL provides simulated trading and educational analysis only.
It is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser and does not execute live brokerage orders.
AI outputs are informational and can be wrong. Do your own research and consult a qualified adviser before real investing.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
